After reading A Rumored Fortune, I knew that I would be a forever fan of Joanna Davidson Politano. Her new release, Finding Lady Enderly, is just as thrilling and mysterious as her other work. In this historical fiction novel set in the 1800s, Raina is working as a common rag woman when she is approached by a stranger with a strange request. The stranger, Victor, wants Raina to fill in for a countess as she takes a break from her duties. Raina reluctantly agrees to this unusual job offer and she has no idea what she is signing up for. She is swept away to a life of evening gowns and entertainment in a mansion full of secrets. This fanciful life turns out to be much less than Raina thought she hoped for and she finds herself in a heap of trouble. The bright spot in her life is the reunion with her lost love, Sully, but Raina has to go to extremes to try to protect him from danger. All of this culminates into a surprise conclusion that no one will see coming.
Finding Lady Enderly is one of the best books of 2019. Another 5 star read from Joanna Davidson Politano! Thank you so much to Revell for the chance to read and review this book!
