Beautiful cover, beautiful setting, beautiful book! Millie Sullivan will do whatever it takes to provide for her ailing grandmother. Even if it means dressing up in ancient costumes and sneaking around an old chateau, Millie is all in. Millie finds more than she was expecting when security guard, Ben Thornton, catches her snooping in the library of the chateau. Millie decides to let Ben in on her plan, but doesn't expect to fall for him in the process.
Liz Johnson does an excellent job of writing a full circle story with a superb ending. The book escalates effortlessly and takes the reader on a romantic and mysterious journey. There was just the right amount of suspense sprinkled throughout to balance out the love story. This book is also a clean read with a wonderful reminder to fully rely on God. Thank you to Revell and bookishfirst for the chance to review this book!
