This thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat and will have you turning page after page by lamplight until you reach the end. The book is very well-written and the story flows perfectly. The characters are likable and relatable and the story plays out like a movie on the big screen. I thoroughly enjoyed investigating along with Garrett and Jordan by trying to solve the mystery of the crime on my own. The ending does not disappoint. Most importantly, the lesson of this book is very well received and the author describes why God allows bad things to happen in this world. God gives us free will and we are affected by bad choices. However, God has promised us everlasting life if we just accept his son as our Lord and Savior. We may have heartache in this world, but in heaven, that will not be the case. I received this book from Revell in exchange for my honest review.
